Friday, March 15th at 9pm Leenya opens for the U2 Tribute Band Unforgettable Fire on Saint Patrick's Day weekend. Doors open at 9pm on Friday March 15th for this night of Irish rock. Erik Hayden and Justin Hosek (both from the cast of Pump Boys and Dinettes) round out the band with alternative covers, favorite Celtic classics, and a few Leenya originals.$17.00 Advance tickets $20.00 At the door Includes both shows Doors at 9:00PM Show at 10:00PM Erik Hayden:Erik is a New England born musician and actor. After years of playing blues bars and coffee houses in the Boston area Erik made the shift to New York City and started working in Theatre industry playing dead rock stars. His critically acclaimed turn as Buddy Holly in Buddy; The Buddy Holly Story played theatres all across North America. Recently you may have caught him as Elvis Presley or Carl Perkins in the Broadway production of Million Dollar Quartet . With the bad ass crew from Million Dollar Quartet Erik recorded some music to benefit Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS. You can also hear him playing some old time and bluegrass music with the John Street 7 and on recordings for the new down home musical Careless Love. You can catch Erik singing some Irish music under the supervision of T Bone Burnett in the upcoming Cohen Brothers film Inside Llewyn Davis Justin Hosek: The byproduct of a theatre director and a musician, Justin grew up immersed in the arts in the “Land of Oz”. In 2002 Justin left his hometown of Lawrence, Kansas, and his Jayhawks to study jazz bass performance at The New School in New York City. Shortly thereafter he began a touring career in Europe with The Ranchhands followed by a nationwide arena tour with Hillary Duff and then later Kelly Clarkson. Justin’s fun-loving, high-spirited personality quickly endears him to audiences and his fellow artists alike. |
